John's 05 GT, though a brand new platform, is his tribute to Mustangs
of old. John is creating his modern interpretations of a BOSS 302
Mustang . His performanace mods include Mac 1 3/4 longtubes, Mac off-road prochamber, CMRC deletes, D&D T56, FRPP 4.30 gears,
Detriot Tru Trac, aluminum one-piece drive shaft, HP Motorsport Lower
Control Arms, Mcleod hydraulic throwout bearing, Swarr auto Custom shifter, and custom SCT tuning by Dayton Peformance.


The car Dynoed 316rwhp / 325rwtq at a recent dyno session

There is more power to be had out of his stock motor, just need more
time on the dyno.
As you can see from the dyno graph, the 3v heads seem to like RPMs and
even more impressive is how broad the torque curve is. This
is due to the VVT setup of the 3v motors. Being able to advance/retard
the timing allows for both a broad, flat torque curve but good top end
power as well.
John's best times before the T56, gears and lower control arms was a
13.44@101mph. We should see what the new combo does out at
the track very soon
In the works at this time is a Teksid block 4.6 stroked out to 302
cubic inches with a fully forged rotating assembly built by Dayton
Performace. On top of that John will be adding an F1
Procharger. Once
the install is complete on that combo, John should have one very fast
combo on his hands!

John is still feeling out the new combo but has a new best time of
